Many of us certified partners at Internet Profits are busy preparing for 2022 and it’s exciting!

As I mentioned in week 17, Internet Profits is introducing some big changes for 2022.  Dean is improving the program massively – and as it’s already awesome, I can’t even imagine how truly great it’s going to be! 

Yesterday was week 2 of the super affiliate success coaching; I came out of it super focused and filled with positive energy. 

This is exactly what I need right now.  A program that’s going to help me stay focused on the action I need to take daily to have success. 

For a long time now I’ve been convinced that most people fail because of lack of focus rather than lack of skills, products or tools.

I’ve seen it in myself and in others.  What we focus on, grows – it’s as simple as that.  So the fact that Dean is pivoting Internet Profits, and focusing on helping people focus and take the right action consistently, is absolutely awesome.

So – want to join me in preparing for even more success in 2022?

Here’s what I’ve been doing:

I had a hard honest talk with myself, and listed everything that might prevent me from reaching my goals in 2022…  there were many things, really, but the one that stood out above all for me was “wanting to do too many things”.

I know this is my number one enemy… I find it so hard to say no!  I want to help everyone, I see potential in every platform, I have too many ideas all the time. 

Doing too many things is what is stopping me from having massive growth in one area.

The second biggest challenge for me is self-doubt.  There’s this thing in my brain and at the core of my being that doubts…  There’s a whole story behind that – maybe I’ll write a post about it another day.  But for now, let’s just say I was pretty badly treated as a child; the look of disapproval and doubt in my mother’s eye is something I find very hard to get away from. But I WILL.  I owe it to myself to believe in myself.

So there you go: having had this talk with myself, I made a list of all this and I’m now working on getting my priorities right.  My conclusion is:

• YouTube is my main platform.  That’s where I want true growth.
• Everything else I do always has to either help my YouTube channel grow, or grow my email list.
• On YouTube, I focus on helping affiliate marketers with all the problems they have.  These are almost always to do with traffic, getting started, choosing or understanding a product, choosing or understanding a traffic source, and converting traffic (making money).
• Every piece of content I make for YouTube, I can then repurpose in all kinds of different ways, and that’s fine – as long as everything always leads back in some way to YouTube or my email list.

I guess from now on, any time I’m tempted to sign-up to another email list, I need to ask myself first: “will this help me grow my YouTube channel?”

Well, that’s a good thing I’ve established there – right?

What could stop YOU, dear reader, from succeeding in 2022?  Why don’t you make a list too?  And have that hard, honest talk with yourself?

Once you have a plan – it’s all a lot easier. 

In fact, I reckon these are the 2 keys to success:

1. Have a plan
2. Take consistent, focused action

I’ve always said that.  And now Internet Profits is giving me both a plan, and daily accountability and implementation help.  I can’t see how I could fail to have success in these conditions, to be honest…

So whatever happened to my journey with Internet Profits?  Last time I wrote, I was in week 9…

Someone asked me recently if I’d quit!  NOOOO!!!!  I don’t quit – ever!  But I feel really bad that I got behind posting about it – both here and on YouTube…

It’s not always easy juggling family responsibilities and building the business – at times I get overwhelmed and can’t keep up with everything.  That’s what happened.  I continued working on all this, of course – I just didn’t keep up with recording the journey.

Anyway, there are videos for weeks 10 to 16 – and I’ll catch up with blog posts about these.  But then I had a gap in videos too.

So – I’m sorry, and now let’s catch up, shall we?

Dean Holland’s Internet Profits is still, in my eyes, the absolute best program I’ve ever joined.  It feels like home – I’m not ever going anywhere else.  

There are some big changes happening, and they are exciting, to say the least!

Dean is committed to seeing us succeed, and he’s constantly thinking of new ways to help.

The first thing that happened was the introduction of the Quick Start Challenge, a new product that gives you everything you need to start an online business in affiliate marketing – with 6 weeks of coaching!  For a price that is just ridiculously low.

Then Dean announced that 2022 would be a year of big changes for Internet Profits, with the introduction of a brand new coaching program, committed to making a huge difference to people’s online business building experience.

I’m particularly excited about this.  Most people fail online because they don’t take enough action, or they don’t take the right action.

I’ve been there too.  I know how it goes.  We buy a course and feel soooo excited; it all sounds great; then we go into the members’ area and start taking action.  But then we hit a roadblock, and there isn’t really anyone to turn to.  Well, usually there’s a Facebook group to turn to and in which to ask questions, but it’s rarely enough to get us unstuck.

And before we know it, we start getting behind, and feel embarrassed, and then we don’t dare ask questions anymore…. There might be some weekly live coaching, but it’s not really a place where we can ask questions.  And even if it is, if it only happens once a week, by the time we get to the group coaching call, we might be so behind already, that it just feels hopeless to even ask questions.

Dean’s approach is already very different now: there are live calls in the partners’ group several times a week.  

But this new direction is even more exciting!  There will be a “feedback and implementation” call every single day, Monday to Friday!  A call where we can ask precise questions and get feedback – get unstuck right away, every day, and be able to continue on the right track, without wasting precious time.

There will be monthly results review and refining sessions – a monthly call where we’ll share our results, analyse them, see what can be improved on and tweaked, so we can improve.

And there’ll be a monthly “commission booster” coaching session.

All absolutely great stuff. It will help me greatly to stay focused and keep on taking the right action.

Dean’s mission is to help everyone get to a full-time income by the end of 2022.

Anyway, that’s it in a nutshell.  As far as my results go with Internet Profits, there are no major sales to report.  Keep in mind this is not the only product I promote, of course.  My commissions to date are: $1150.25

That’s the question I saw in a Facebook group yesterday.  The person said something like:

“I’ve taken the first steps to getting started with affiliate marketing: I’ve signed up to Clickbank, what are my next steps?”

Good question!

And here’s what I would say:

Clickbank is a good place to start, especially if you’re on a low budget and have no experience in affiliate marketing.  

So, once you’ve signed up (it’s free) and have your affiliate ID, the next step is to find a product to promote…

BUT, before you do that, I suggest you decide on a niche.  You need to know what you’re going to be talking about!  It’s not the same if you’re in the dog training niche or the fitness niche, right?

So, start by thinking about what you want to talk about and who you want to attract.

Pick something you know about or want to learn about.

Once you’ve picked a niche, search Clickbank for a relevant product.  You might know of one already, that you’ve used yourself – that’s even better!

Check offers out by clicking on the “affiliate page” in the Clickbank marketplace.  You’ll learn all about the offer, the commissions you can make, the free resources they give you to help promote the product.  

I suggest you buy the product yourself and test it out, so you know what it’s about.  It’s always easier to speak of something when we’ve tried it out ourselves, isn’t it?

Anyway, once you’ve decided on the product to promote, get your affiliate links (again, you get that from the affiliate page). 

You’ll then have to send traffic to these links.

Now for traffic, there are so many different ways you can do it, it’s impossible for me to go into all the details.  But I suggest you pick ONE platform where to build some relevant content.

You can keep it very simple.  You can simply have an Instagram account, or a TikTok channel, or a blog.  But you’re going to have to build some content, to attract your audience.

If you have a budget, then you can use paid advertising methods too, of course.  You can create a Facebook business page and create ads.  You can buy solo ads traffic.  You can create YouTube ads.

With paid traffic, however, I suggest you learn how to do it the right way, or you risk losing a considerable amount of money – which is not what we want, right?

That’s it, in a nutshell… GIVE IT TIME – you probably won’t get sales right away.  You need to build an audience.  But stay consistent and it will happen!
